Ballantyne of Omaha, Inc. (Ballantyne) is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of commercial motion picture equipment and lighting systems. The company is also engaged in the distribution of food service products including marinade, breading and replacement parts related to its discontinued restaurant equipment products. Ballantyne of Omaha products and services are sold under the brand name “Strong”.

Strong Cinema Products supplies motion picture projection equipment, lenses, xenon lamps, replacement parts and special venue products to cinema exhibitors and cinema equipment distributors around the world. Strong Entertainment Lighting provides followspots, promotional and other lighting products to venues of all sizes: including major arenas, auditoriums and amusement parks.

In 2005, Strong Digital Systems was created to serve as a non-exclusive distributor of digital cinema equipment and other digital projection equipment through an agreement with NEC Solutions (America), Inc.
